Art collectives, skating women, border fences, pop music, tourists at the Mexican Pyramid of the Sun, kitchen conversations and demonstrations in public space: collected snapshots from an entire decade are condensed into eleven episodes. Without appearing in the picture or as a voice herself, Spanlang constructs a shimmering self-portrait that only allows the person portrayed to become visible, audible and tangible, to say "I" in radical subjectives and in encounters with people, art and discourses.
