2 Musterknaben
The loneliness has come to an end! After their two solo programs, the two friends are finally back on stage together.
Two men in the prime of their middle age, gratefully enjoying the blessings of ageing. Mild-mannered and wise, they are devoted sugar daddies to their much younger wives. They comment on the turbulence of the global economic crisis, the continuing manipulation of the media, the embarrassments of celebrities and the meaning of life with the experience and serenity of two old showbiz hands. Gernot & Niavarani prove in this cabaret evening that they don't play matinees and afternoon shows, that they have found their center and know the right answer to all the questions in the world.
Two forty-somethings as the perfect mirror of their generation, far removed from any spirituality, self-righteous, know-it-all, anti-progress and resistant to advice. Two who like to dish it out and can take it all the less, but they know that it's better to be a know-it-all than have no opinion at all. They talk a lot, sing little and don't dance.
