Humanity's days are numbered. God has had enough of the earthly hustle and decides on the apocalypse. He sends his son Christl to earth to deliver the message to his old buddy Hage, the Holy Spirit. But Hage wants to perform his musical “Holy Spirit Megastar” and doesn't like the idea of the end of the world at all.
