The Bone Man

Wolfgang Murnberger's film adaptation of Wolf Haas' bestseller of the same name, with Josef Hader as the stoic detective Simon Brenner: Now something has happened again ... A man named Horvath has disappeared, and the only clue leads to the "Löschenkohl", a widely known roast chicken joint in the province. And it wouldn't be Brenner if the bone grinding machine in Löschenkohl's cellar didn't pose him some sinister riddles. Almost too late he realizes the danger he is in, because the young landlady has turned his head in such a way that in the end he has to be glad to still have it on his neck. Abysmal cinema entertainment at its best.
