Gipsy Queen

A few years ago, the proud, self-confident Ali (Alina Șerban) would never have dreamed of ending up as a single mother in Hamburg, scraping out a living with odd jobs. After all, as a junior boxer who "floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee," she was once the pride and joy of her father and her Roma family far to the east of Europe. Cast out by her clan, she hung up her gloves. When she meets washed-up boxing coach Tanne (Tobias Moretti), she dares to make a comeback. With the power of despair, she fights for a better future for her children.
