Stroke of Luck

What begins as a comedic love triangle soon turns into a horror trip for Artur (Philipp Hochmair). The talented but unambitious comic artist works as a clerk in a copy store. His wife Rita (Larissa Fuchs) is more career-conscious: she has just become the youngest school principal in town. The marriage of the two - more or less happy, at any rate very routine - is subjected to a dramatic stress test when Alice (Julia Roy), as mysterious as she is charming, turns Artur's life upside down. The more he becomes entangled in this fateful affair, the less he knows who his lover actually is. Is her name really Alice? Is she from Bavaria, as she says? Is she the French student working in market research that she knows how to play so convincingly? By then, at the latest, Artur also realizes: this web of lies can't last much longer.
