Alma & Oskar
Vienna, 1912: After the death of Gustav Mahler, Alma Mahler (Emily Cox) is a wealthy woman; Vienna's high society is at the young widow's feet. But Alma abhors convention. She becomes interested in the "enfant terrible" of the art scene, the expressionist painter Oskar Kokoschka (Valentin Postlmayr), who causes scandals with his radical works. A passionate affair begins in which different lifestyles collide. Oskar considers Alma his muse, is jealous and possessive. But Alma has ambitions of her own as an artist and composer in a time when this is not usual for a woman. A game of power and dependence ensues that leads Alma and Oskar to the brink of self-destruction.
