Alpine Saga1

The Alpine saga, set up as a six-part television drama, deals with the problems of the rural population up to 1945. The first part begins in 1900, most Upper Austrian farmers are not doing well. The large farmer Allinger wants to build a spirit distillery. To do this, he needs all the fields to grow potatoes. Huber, a young farmer, sees another way out of the crisis by founding a breeding cattle cooperative. A trial of strength ensues between the two.
