A rainy campsite in Styria. Astrid, Elli, and Isabella, three former roommates in their late 40s, sit in a dilapidated trailer and try to reconnect with old times. But the mood is gloomy. A bizarre coincidence enables the friends to take a spontaneous luxury vacation at the Lido. In a magnificent hotel, the past and present collide: Isabella meets her married lover there. The sensible Astrid causes an accident, befriends a beach vendor, and gets into trouble with the Italian police. And Elli, who is not only struggling with the unplanned pregnancy of her daughter, disappears after a heated argument.
