In an Austrian ski resort, three very different people meet. - Maca Daracs works as a kitchen help during the peak season. She has no residence permit and is urgently looking for a man to marry in order to stay in Austria. She comes across Kurt Höllermoser, a former technical worker at VOEST. Kurt Höllermoser feels that he is being persecuted. He has had dealings with Austrian weapons in Iran. He fears the secret services, she fears the alien police. Rudi Blaha is said to be a big shot in the Socialist Party. He is on a skiing vacation with his fourteen-year-old daughter. Maca Daracs makes both gentlemen an offer of marriage.
