Cause of Death

The female body is always in danger. An autopsy report describes the physical impacts that lead to death, but is silent about the structural and recurring violence that is often the cause of femicide. Using archival footage, animation, and spoken word poetry, underlying mechanisms are revealed and structural violence against women is made visible.
