A few days before the EU was enlarged by 10 member states in 2004 with various ceremonial acts. Place of action: the roads to the west (from Romania) and Vienna.... A Romanian couple is stuck in Vienna without any money. Their paths separate, cross with locals and finally bring them together again under new circumstances. This film operates serenely and calmly and with a pleasantly immoralistic shrug of the shoulders with the 'big' themes of self-determination, gender politics and migration issues entirely without prescribing the 'right' solutions.
