The Christmas creep

TV commentator Robert Lahnstein (Fritz Wepper) is known for being nasty, caustic and cynical - a reputation he cultivates with devotion. He particularly hates Christmas. That's why he wants to retreat to a remote mountain hut, as he does every year. On the way, however, he has an accident and the car ends up in a ditch. To make matters worse, it starts to snow heavily. With the last of his strength, he manages to save himself in a lonely barn. But as luck would have it, a stubborn old woman (Ruth Drexel), a stripper (Julia Cencig), a pregnant woman (Kristina Sprenger), a homeless man (Gerd Silberbauer) and a father with his son (Michael Roll and Oskar Weiskopf) have already saved themselves among the sheep. Horrified, Lahnstein imagines himself in a kind of nativity play. He consistently spreads bad humor until the others throw out the Christmas donkey. But his life is in danger in the snowstorm.
