The Uppercrust

The feature film of the crime series KOTTAN ERMITTELT: The managing director of a town planning company, the supervisory board chairwoman Herta Aichinger (Bibiana Zeller) and the district head Sommer (Fred Schaffer) profit from land speculation at the expense of the public treasury, especially in the course of the construction of a huge residential and leisure center. The trio is joined by the shady Kralicek (Pavel Landovsky) and the insurance fraudster Haumer (Lukas Resetarits), who also tries his hand at blackmail. To solve this "problem", a contract killer from San Francisco is hired. A journalist and Kottan (Franz Buchrieser) start collecting evidence.
