The Blunzenkönig, an old-established master butcher in a rural idyll, sees time-honored traditions and the future he envisaged for his son Franzl abruptly in danger when Charlotte, a vegan from the city, enters Franzl's life. Values are turned upside down, there are arguments and they get back together - because after all, "If you don't go with the times, you go away with them"!
