The Shine of Day
Philipp Hochmair is a young successful actor with engagements at the big stages in Vienna and Hamburg. His life is dominated by rehearsing new texts, rehearsals and performances. As a result, he increasingly loses touch with the reality of everyday life. When he meets his vagabond uncle Walter, with whom he develops an ambivalent friendship, and is confronted with the fate of his neighbor Viktor, he is reminded that life is not a stage.
"The fragmentary always takes the place of a construct that makes sense. That's the way we work. Through the interaction of all these fragments, the spectator can then find an interpretation for himself." TIZZA COVI/RAINER FRIMMEL
