The dead man in the lake

When Grete Öller, a detective at the Linz State Office of Criminal Investigation, and her young colleague Lisa Nemeth are called to a dead body found in the Steyrdurchbruch reservoir, everything quickly seems clear: The dead man, Erich Dirnbacher, not only suffered from depression, but also from cancer in an advanced stage. Dirnbacher, unable to cope with the emotional pressure and the prospect of an agonizing death, has obviously committed suicide. Grete and Lisa search Dirnbacher's house for further evidence to support their theory - and make a discovery that catches Grete completely off guard and throws her life into turmoil...
