The Worshipper

Trixi Jancik leads a risky double life. At home, she is the docile wife. But when she pursues her secret passion on the racetrack incognito, disguised with a wig, a window to a better life opens up. There she squanders the household money and enjoys a slice of high society life that she can only dream of in the marital home. An everyday argument at home breaks the camel's back and marks the turning point in her life: Trixi mixes her husband a lethal cocktail of drugs. The widow's freedom is intoxicating, but her inherited savings are soon exhausted. A wealthy advertising acquaintance seems to be the solution to the eternal money problem. However, the new marriage brings the old trouble. And once again Trixi resorts to the tried and tested drug method to get rid of her husband, when the past catches up with her in the form of her former neighbor Karli: the blackmailer has enough clues and wants to share in the profits of the murderous goings-on.
