Egon Schiele - Tod und Mädchen

Austria 1906: After the death of his father, sixteen-year-old Egon Schiele travels with his twelve-year-old sister Gerti to Trieste, a city by the sea, to paint her in the light of the south. Twelve years later, a few days before the end of the world war and shortly after his greatest success as a painter, he falls ill with the Spanish flu, which kills thousands of people in Vienna. His sister is with him again. While she desperately tries to save her beloved brother's life, memories of other women who helped shape him and his art come to life.
