Sometimes you have to live through nightmares to realize your dreams. In his first feature film, Arash T. Riahi tells the odyssey of several refugees to the holy land of freedom. All stories are based on true events. At the center is the adventurous journey of two teenagers, Mehrdad and Ali, who accompany the girl Azy and the boy Arman from Iran to Turkey, from where the children are to be taken to their parents in Austria. Interwoven with this story are the adventures of an Iranian teacher, his wife and son, as well as Manu, a Kurd, and Abbas, an Iranian dissident, who seek to escape misery and political repression through survival and humor. People need dreams - and the courage to pursue those dreams.
