France, here we come! - A drama in three acts, told about the journey of the Austrian national team to the World Cup finals in France, seen through the eyes of a sports journalist, a bank auditor and his mother, a pensioner, an alcoholic, an extended family, a children's coach and a blind man. Around the games against Cameroon, Chile and Italy, the film tells of faith, love and hope in front of the TV screen - the TV screen that opens our eyes to the part of the world that sits spellbound in front of it.
