This film is a story about guilt and lies: In a small town, the kiss of Thomas Hudetz, a proper train dispatcher, and Anna, a student, triggers a terrible train accident that wipes out many lives and, at the same time, throws everyone involved's lives out of joint. The shared guilt and the shared lie drive Thomas and Anna into an obsessive love that dramatically changes not only their lives.
Based on the play "The Last Day" by Ödön von Horváth.
