Following “Muttertag”, stand-up star Alfred Dorfer combined motifs from his two solo programs “Alles Gute” and “Ohne Netz” for his second successful cinematic co-production with Harald Sicheritz, creating a multifaceted tragicomedy about midlife crisis-stricken music teacher Robert Brenneis, who doesn’t like being himself – until he runs into former classmate Roland Pokorny, who supposedly made it to the sunny side of life as a celebrated pop star, and finds that things could be worse than they are for him.
