Future Baby

Future Baby is a film about the future of human reproduction, in the middle of the present. Reproductive medicine, coupled with the rapidly progressing decoding of human genetic material, catapults us humans into an evolution that we can now begin to control ourselves for the first time. Future Baby embarks on a global search for clues in laboratories and clinics, to those affected and to researchers, where individual customer wishes and the optimization of the human being itself intertwine and drive an entire industry. But the film also asks about the consequences of this development and the price we are willing to pay for it: How far do we want to go?
