ORF City Comedy St.Pölten

Gerold Plassek is anything but a do-gooder. As a journalist for a regional newspaper in St. Pölten and a proven cynic, he always does just the minimum to make ends meet. He spends his considerable free time in his favorite pub in a merry circle of similarly inclined friends - until two unforeseen and, for the time being, unwanted events put an end to Gerold's tranquil, permanent misery: Firstly, from one day to the next, he has to look after Manuel, the 14-year-old pubescent son of an old acquaintance, while she is traveling abroad for “Doctors Without Borders”. And secondly, and even more seriously, an anonymous benefactor donates large sums of money to the very charitable organizations that Gerold's newspaper articles are dedicated to.
