Hader muss weg

“The story features: a pitch-black suburban street lined with used-car dealerships, a run-down gas station, a seedy bar, an envelope containing 10,000 euros, a firearm, and roughly seven ruined lives.” Ten long years after his solo show “Privat,” Josef Hader wanted “to do something that has the lightness of a Mozart opera, a piece somewhere between A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Pulp Fiction.” Thus, “Hader muss weg” fully exploits the space between satire and chamber play. Some thoughts, some scenes are reminiscent of early Beckett plays. Black humor serves as the glue holding the dialogues together.
