The Whore's Son

Based on the novel by Gabriel Loidolt. 16-year-old Ozren tells the story of his life with his mother Silvija, a young, beautiful Croatian woman who comes to Vienna from Yugoslavia at the end of the 1970s and soon ends up working the streets in search of a better life. Often left alone by Silvija, who over the years works her way up to become a well-paid high-class prostitute, Ozren tries to cope with his "extra-normal" fate as a son of a bitch.
