Lovely Rita

Rita is an outsider—in her family, in her class, in her teenage life. Fifteen years old, lonely, searching for acceptance and affection: she tries to win over Fexi, who is two years younger—and hooks up with a bus driver in the bathroom. She tries to become more popular in her class—and skips school more and more often. She gets caught by the police, finally sees her father’s gun on the kitchen table—and acts. Things just happen. The final still—Rita looking into the camera—is nothing but a big question.
