ENERGIZED takes viewers on a journey through the madness that is energy. Told from the point of view of residents, pioneers and critics, the film shows the desperate attempts to extract the last oil and gas reserves from the earth and to conceal the risks of nuclear energy. It draws attention to the effects of gigantic hydroelectric and solar power projects that debunk the myth of renewable energy; and points to solutions that cannot be implemented. In the end, it's not about what people need, but about energy concepts that someone can earn money from.
