Mama Happy...?

Christian is 15 years old and was born with Down syndrome. On weekdays he lives in a care home, where he also attends the affiliated school. Weekends, holidays and vacations Christian spends with his mother and older brother Robert. Niki List, friend of the family, filmed one such weekend with its everyday situations. Eating, watching TV, visiting friends, shopping, a party, going swimming, that moment when Christian becomes aware that the return to the home is imminent, the pain of separation from his mother, whom he likes to see so happy (the film title comes from him).
