In the film, filmmaker Brigitte Weich and cinematographer Judith Benedikt return to the isolated country to interview four female soccer players from the national team about how their lives have developed. The four women, who already appeared in the documentary HANA, DUL, SED ... (2009), are no longer active in professional sports and are pursuing careers behind the scenes or away from the sporting arena. The women talk about their lives and status as female athletes, parental expectations, appearance and demeanor, careers, and family planning. At times, the country's message control seems to fade into the background, and on some topics, it is clear that the women are not always free to talk about everything that concerns them. In addition to the protagonists, North Korea's only female film director also has her say. She has directed a TV soap opera about the female soccer players: excerpts from the series, which promotes a traditional image of women and devoted patriotism, offer a different, domestic and conformist perspective on the topic.
