School of Champions - Season 1 - Episode 2

Swiss skiing talent Nawal is determined to be at the forefront of the skiing circuit, and not just to honour her late father, a national football hero. She wants to prove to her mother that skiing is more than just a hobby. She takes a huge risk in the qualifying race and leads by a wide margin at the halfway point, but then she takes a corner too fast and crashes heavily. Her hopes of being accepted into the new class fade, especially as her mother, traumatised by the death of Nawal's father, tries everything she can to keep her away from skiing.
