Serviam

A Catholic boarding school for girls, part of a secluded institution on the outskirts of Vienna, the wealthy Austrian elite and their children. The school is flourishing, but the faith is in decline and the upper floors of the boarding school are already empty. The headmistress of the boarding school, an energetic young nun, fights with dedication against the decline of the faith. Twelve-year-old Martha, a favorite of the sister, is a deeply religious girl who wants to atone for the sins of the world. The sister encourages Martha by lending her a penitential belt. However, the girl inflicts serious wounds on herself with it - and is hidden in an empty cane.
