Single Bells

Kati works in an advertising agency, Jonas is a pediatrician, both are in their 30s and a modern couple. Christmas is approaching. They plan their annual escape from the Christmas hustle to Mauritius. But suddenly Kati is overcome by sentimentality: she can no longer suppress her longing for family happiness and children of her own. And she invites herself - without Jonas - to her sister Luiserl's Christmas party. A white Christmas in the bosom of a large family now seems to be an alternative after all.

At her sister's house, however, her husband Joe, the two mothers-in-law and grandmothers as well as the two children cause a lot of turbulence under the Christmas tree.
