Miriam, Doris, Inès, and Christiane have been close friends since their school days at the Sophianum. But the friends share much more than that—namely, a secret. The idyllic life in Zollberg is shaken when a pair of investigators from Vienna arrive to investigate a death that everyone thought had long been solved. This causes Miriam, in her role as a prosecutor, to start wondering. The investigation forces the four women to confront their own personal fates and secrets, putting their bond to the test.
