At 26, after years of self-destruction, she began to question why she was forced into a woman's body. Alex Jürgen is intersex - a person who confuses the world's meticulous division into male and female. Elisabeth Scharang accompanies him for three years on his journey from Alexandra to Alex, from his dramatic past to his own views and friends.
