From Berlin, Zoki, a Serb, and Feti, a Bosnian, run a peculiar business: they help their compatriots bury relatives in their homeland. Because the legal transfer of people who have died in Germany to the Balkans is very expensive, they put the "customer" in the back seat of their car, his feet in ice, and drive him across the border, disguised as a hopelessly drunk guest worker. This clever business idea has welded Zoki and Feti together despite their deeply felt mutual dislike. They earn well - and above all, tax-free! They would even get the tricky job of transporting the sister of well-known criminals to Bosnia across the various borders - if an overambitious female officer hadn't dragged the alleged victim of a violent crime out of the coffin and put herself in it. On their journey home to the Balkans, the unsuspecting undercover morticians now have a much livelier corpse on board than they would like.
