Business and love for Lisbeth, the daughter of the Horger farmer, lead the long-established cattle dealer Levi once again to a remote Black Forest valley he knows well in the spring of 1933. But things have changed here. With the Berlin engineer Kohler and his construction crew, which is to repair the railroad tunnel, a new spirit has taken hold.
