Was uns bindet
Just when I thought I was finally at peace with my feelings for my parents and my origins, my father bequeathed his old, dilapidated farmhouse to me and my sister. The inheritance of stonework was meant to tie us back to that place in the Salzburg mountains where we grew up and where my parents still live. I suffer from shortness of breath. I realize: the conflict with my family has not stopped. With my return, a new outlook on my parents began. (IVETTE LÖCKER)
"Never - and I use this word boldly now, in the sense of daring and audaciously - have I seen a more poignant documentary on the subject of family than Ivette Löcker's WAS UNS BINDET." ALEXANDRA ZAWIA
