Workingman's Death

Is physical hard labor disappearing, or is it just becoming invisible? Where can it still be found in the 21st century? This film follows the footsteps of heroes into the illegal mines of Ukraine, tracks down ghosts among sulfur workers in Indonesia, encounters lions in a slaughterhouse in Nigeria, moves among brothers cutting up a huge tanker in Pakistan, and hopes for a glorious future with Chinese steelworkers. But this has now arrived in Germany, where a massive and once highly productive blast furnace plant has been transformed into a theme park.
