The Natural History Museum in Vienna collects, researches, archives and reflects with meticulous energy - more than 30 million objects have been collected here over the centuries in order to question them again and again.  ARCHIV DER ZUKUNFT offers a look behind the scenes of the traditional museum, away from the familiar showcases, and shows a microcosm of institutional research that faces up to current social challenges. A cinematic homage to the importance of science and an insightful reflection on life on earth and beyond.
