Heard, Seen: A Radio Movie

HEARD, SEEN: A RADIO MOVIE portrays the Austrian cultural station Ö1 in a phase of upheaval and describes the ethos with which the radio producers try to make their contribution to an enlightened society. The film aims to make the fascination of radio and radio making tangible. Against the background of new phenomena such as the "post-factual society" and the fact that entire population groups are withdrawing into their own information bubbles, it shows the daily struggle for objective information and the value of public broadcasting for society. The ubiquity of music, most of which is created on air in this project, makes the film a sensual and moving experience.
