Rike (Susanne Wolff) is an emergency doctor and passionate sailor. Alone with her small sailboat, she sets off from Gibraltar to Ascension Island. After a violent storm at night, she spots a wrecked cutter - overloaded with refugees. Despite alerting the coast guard, no help arrives.
