The documentary WELCOME TO SODOM lets the viewer look behind the scenes of Europe's largest garbage dump in the middle of Africa and portrays the losers of the digital revolution. The focus is not on the mechanisms of the illegal electronic scrap trade, but on the living conditions and fates of people who are at the lowest end of the global value chain. The dump of Agbogbloshie will most likely also be the last destination for the tablets, smartphones and computers we buy tomorrow.
